 What's New in the Library?

We have recently added these new books:

How Raising Children Shapes Our Souls: Sacred Parenting by Gary Thomas
Sacred Parenting is unlike any other parenting book you have ever read. This is not a “how to” book that teaches you ways to raise your children. Sacred Parenting turns the tables and demonstrates how God uses our kids to change us. (Non-fiction)

Revelation by Catherine Gonzalez and Justo L. Gonzalez
Revelation is part of the Westminster Bible Companion series that helps Christians study the Bible as a guide to Christian faith and practice. The authors propose that we are not as far from the situation about which John writes as we might think. (Non-fiction)

Living Your Strengths by Albert L. Winseman, & others
While millions of people in the U.S.are actively involved in some sort of religious organization, many report that they really don't get the opportunity in their congregation to do what they do best. Living Your Strengths shows readers how to use their innate gifts to enrich their faith communities, and how to identify and affirm their talents to use them for growth and service. Most importantly, the book helps people discover their true callings. The book includes an ID code that gives readers access to StrengthsFinder.com,  a personality assessment that reveals the user's top five talents.(Non-fiction)

God Came Near by Max Lucado

Become a Better You by Joel Osteen

People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks

Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson

The Appeal by John Grisham
